Stafford Northbound
Located on the M6 between junction 14 and 15, Stafford Northbound is a popular and busy service station. Here you will find plenty of eating spots including West Cornwall Pasty Co, Greggs, Burger King and Chow. This is a great place to take a break, especially if you’re driving with children as there’s a play area for them to let off some steam.
Norton Canes
A great place to stop for a quick bite to eat and to stretch your legs is Norton Canes located on the M6 toll road between junction 6 and 7. This is considered to be a treat for drivers, with its fountains, picnic areas and an array of shops and restaurants to choose from. It’s also come top of satisfaction surveys in 2018 and 2019.
Gloucester Southbound
This service station is found on the M5 between junction J11a and 12. The great thing about Gloucester Southbound is that they work with a local charity, the Gloucestershire Gateway Trust which helps run the site and ensure it is environmentally friendly and supports the local area. There’s a children’s play area and dog walking area, as well as a butcher’s counter, cheese counter and farm shop.
South Mimms
South Mimms has options such as KFC, Pizza Express, Pret a Manger, Subway and Starbucks, which explains its popularity. It has an electric vehicle charging point, a games arcade and a UK TruckClean, making it quite the hit with both truckers and commuters. This service station can be found on the M25 at junction 23.
Heston Westbound
Located on the M4 between junction 2 and 3, Heston Westbound is popular amongst motorists heading to and from Heathrow airport. It’s one of the oldest services in the country with plenty of places to grab a bite to eat, from Burger King, Costa, Greggs and WHSmith. Heston Westbound is also a popular filming location due to it being located close to London.
